Research Recruitment

Are you seeing your GP or Health Professional for the first time because of joint or muscle pain?

Or

Are you a family member (mother, father, sister, brother or child over 18 years old) of someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Some people with rheumatoid arthritis have antibodies in their blood called Anti-Cyclic Citrullinated Peptide (anti-CCP) Antibodies.

Professor Paul Emery and his team are interested to find out if people with joint pain and family members of people with rheumatoid arthritis also have these antibodies –this can be found out by doing a simple blood test(as part of the CCP – Next Generation study).

If you are interested in receiving an information pack which gives details of how you can help us with this vital research please get in touch with our research nurse team or ask a delegated member of staff at your GP surgery.

Telephone (0113) 392 4734 or email: leedsth-tr.ccpnextgen@nhs.net

Many thanks from Professor Paul Emery, Arthritis Research UK Professor of Rheumatology.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Nurse Lyn Glover at Bodey MC to discuss.
